Build and Design

Zinc alloy frame, leather panel, PCTG pod housing. IP68 rated — dustproof, waterproof, built to survive drops and daily abuse. Dimensions sit at 119mm x 43.77mm x 30.58mm and it weighs around 150g, so it's solid in the hand. The 0.96" TFT colour screen sits on the front face alongside a wattage adjustment button and a locking switch to prevent accidental firing in a pocket or bag.

The pod connects magnetically — click in, pull out, no threading or fiddling. Airflow control is at the top alongside the fill port. Adjust the draw from tight RDL to wide open DTL without touching the pod itself.

Battery and Charging

2400mAh integrated battery. Innokin rates it at roughly three days of use between charges, though that depends on wattage. Charges via USB-C at 2A — up to 80% from flat in around an hour. Fast enough that running it low isn't a disaster. Pass-through charging works while it tops up.

Pod and Coils

2ml capacity pod (UK TPD compliant). Top-fill via a simple port at the top — open, fill, close. No pod removal required. Four silicone seals inside the pod to prevent leaks. The pod is designed short and wide to maximise liquid volume without adding unnecessary height to the device.

PZP Max mesh coils are push-fit — no threading, no tools. They prime and seat cleanly. The kit ships with the 0.4Ω already in the pod and a spare 0.2Ω in the box. The 0.6Ω is sold separately and turns the PZPulse into a capable MTL kit at the lower end of its wattage range.

Smart Power mode auto-sets the wattage to the coil's recommended range on detection. Can be overridden manually if preferred.

PZP Max Coil Guide

Three coil options, all PZP Max mesh, all push-fit into the same pod. Genuinely different use cases between them.

0.2Ω — 60–80W. Maximum vapour output. Wide open DTL draw. For vapers who want dense clouds and bold flavour and have the wattage headroom to support it. Included as the spare coil in the kit.

0.4Ω — 40–60W. The pre-installed coil. Balanced DTL / RDL draw. More manageable on the battery than the 0.2Ω. Where most vapers on the Innokin Coolfire PZPulse pod kit will spend most of their time.

0.6Ω — 18–23W. Sold separately. Tight RDL, approaching MTL at the lower end. The one to grab if you want to run 50/50 or nic salt liquid without hammering the battery. A different device character entirely at this resistance.

E-Liquid Compatibility

High-VG works well here. The PZP Max mesh coils have large wicking ports specifically designed for thicker liquid — 70/30 VG/PG and above wicks cleanly. Sub-ohm e-liquid at 3mg or 6mg freebase is the natural pairing for the 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω coils. If running the 0.6Ω at lower wattage, 50/50 with nic salts at 10–20mg works too.
