One small metal piece. Easy to overlook, genuinely necessary if you want to run the TFV9 bubble glass on the 2ml EU version of the tank.
Overview
UK TFV9 tanks ship with a 2ml straight glass — TPD compliance. The tank itself is capable of holding 6.5ml, but getting there requires two things: the bubble glass and this chimney adaptor. The glass is the obvious part. The adaptor is what most people forget to order.
It fits into the internal chimney of the TFV9 EU tank and extends it upward to meet the taller bubble glass. Without it, the glass won't seal. The tank will leak, the draw will be off, and you'll end up frustrated. With it, everything lines up as it should — the tank holds 6.5ml and behaves exactly as a full-capacity TFV9 should.
Coil compatibility doesn't change. Smok TFV9 mesh coils, Smok TFV8 Baby coils, Vaporesso GT Core coils — all still work once the adaptor is in place. Nothing about the vaping experience changes. You just stop filling the tank every twenty minutes.

Setup
- Empty and disassemble the TFV9 EU tank
- Slide the chimney adaptor onto the existing internal chimney
- Fit the bubble glass around the adaptor — it should sit flush with no gaps
- Reassemble and fill through the top as normal
- Prime the coil if it's new, then vape
